Odisha CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 341 crore in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated several development projects and laid foundation stones for a few others in Odisha’s Cuttack city.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid stones for projects worth Rs 541 crore in the Silver City.

He inaugurated 10 projects worth Rs 341 crore and laid stones for four others worth Rs 200 crore in Cuttack.

The Chief Minister inaugurated Netaji Bus Terminal (Rs 90 crore), Mahanadi campus of Ravenshaw University (Rs 66.65 crore), a new library at National Law University (Rs 30 crore), new building of DAV SCB Medical Public School (Rs 23.85 crore), housing project for economically weaker section people at Naranpur (Rs 88.31 crore) and redeveloped Silver City Boat Club (Rs 9.72 crore) in Cuttack.

Patnaik also inaugurated Taladanda canal front development, food court and water sports zone at the canal (Rs 5.23 crore, urban haat near Malgodown (Rs 3.22 crore), Ranihaat clock tower (Rs 54 lakh) and a bridge over Taladanda canal (Rs 23.35 crore) during his visit to the Silver City.

He laid stones for a health centre and other infrastructure projects at the National Law University (Rs 123 crore), Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose memorial (Rs 22.39 crore), a utility centre near Taladanda canal (Rs 45.19 crore) and a four-lane road to Cuttack railway station (Rs 8.95 crore).

Agriculture Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain, Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab, MLAs Souvic Biswal and Chandrasarathi Behera and Cuttack Mayor Subhash Singh among others were present on the occasion.
