Odisha CM launches ‘Ama Mukhya Mantri, Ama Katha’. Here’s detail

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday launched a new initiative namely ‘Ama Mukhya Mantri, Ama Katha’ in a bid to expedite social transformation process through dialogues.

The new initiative is a special programme that will be held before the ‘Ama Goan, Ama Bikash’ programme, a release from the chief minister’s office (CMO) said.

On the first edition of the programme, Patnaik asked representatives of more than 112 gram panchayats of five districts, who attended it through video conferencing, to emphasise on education of their children for social transformation and ensure that they must be enrolled in schools.

The CM also announced that any gram panchayat achieving 100 per cent attendance of students in schools will be rewarded by the State Government.
