Odisha CM launches another 11 online services of MSME Deptt

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched another 11 online services of the MSME Department developed under 5T initiative today. The online services will be offered on www.odishamsme.nic.in . Earlier, 12 services of the department were offered online.

The new 11 online services are registration certificate for export promotion and distribution, issuance of rate contract certificate, getting laboratory quality testing report, export promotion assistance, renewal of registration certificate, pre-supply and post-supply inspection services, recommendation from OKVI, discount for khadi organization, supply of different items to Odisha Small Industries Corporation, getting certificate from Odisha State Finance Corporation and one-time settlement by Odisha State Finance Corporation.

While launching the new online services, the Chief Minister said, “This will largely benefit the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to avail the Government benefits and services in a hassle-free manner and add on to the ease of doing business in this sector.”

He added the transformative initiatives through use of appropriate IT solutions will ensure efficiency and transparency.

Patnaik informed the State attracted investments to the tune of Rs 1.17 lakh crore since February 2020 with an opportunity to create over 53 thousand jobs in varied sectors despite the pandemic situation.

“The state economy is also facing a tough time and the MSMEs need support of the Government at this critical juncture,” he added.

He assured the state Government help to MSMEs to overcome the economic crisis they are passing through.
