Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated 10 new projects and performed ground-breaking ceremony of 12 others through video conference at Lok Seva Bhavan here.
As per reports, the 22 new projects will bring an investment of Rs 4,461.42 and create job opportunities for 9451 people. The 10 inaugurated projects are of companies like Hindalco, JK Lakshmi Cement, JSW Cement, MK Plast, Oricon, Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd and Jay Bharat Spices Pvt Ltd.
The ground-breaking ceremony was performed for projects of 12 companies, including Rungta Mines Ltd, Mayfair Hotel & Resorts Ltd, Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Ltd and ABP Energytek Industries Pvt Ltd.
CM Naveen assured the companies of complete facilitation support from the state Government. "The projects will usher in the next era of industrial growth in the state and contribute towards the vision of a industrially prosperous Odisha," he said.
Industries Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary Sanjeev Chopra and Chief Secretary AP Padhi also spoke on the occasion.
