Bhubaneswar, Mar 9:

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik caught the fancy of the mall-goers in the capital city on Wednesday afternoon when the former was spotted roaming in a bookstore.

While the Chief Minister is barely seen in public without adhering to the protocol, Patnaik along with his elder sister and renowned author Geeta Mehta were seen buying books at a store in a mall near Jaydev Vihar.

The brother-sister duo picked up as many as five classic literature books and Patnaik was caught on camera footing the bill.

The people around didn’t let the opportunity go and posed for selfies with the four-time Chief Minister of the state. The popular leader too obliged his admirers and wore a smiling face for a picture perfect moment.

“For a moment, I couldn’t believe my eyes that it was Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the store. We don’t see him much in public life. He was having only one security personnel around him,” a visitor to the mall said.
