Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today held his first review meeting with top officials of the administration regarding government works in the state. Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida were present in the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, and Principal Secretaries of various departments.

Chief Secretary Jena provided a detailed presentation on Odisha's overall development, economic status, and challenges.

After the meeting, the Chief Secretary informed the media that it was a formal meeting of high-level officers with the Chief Minister.

The officers presented various aspects of the state, covering its geographical status, economic affairs, ongoing welfare schemes, upcoming projects, investment proposals, and steps taken to develop different economic sectors, the official said.
