Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik among invitees to swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka CM

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and several other dignitaries were invited today to the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Congress Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

The invitation came close on the heels of an announcement made today by Congress general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal at the party headquarters in New Delhi after days of deliberation that Siddaramaiah will be the next Karnataka Chief Minister and DK Shivakumar the Deputy CM.

It is pertinent to mention here that the other dignitaries invited to the ceremony are Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah.
