Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik possesses properties worth more than Rs 71 crore, as per the affidavit he submitted on Tuesday. This includes movable properties worth Rs 14,05,60,364.40 and inherited immovable assets valued at Rs 57,02,18,000.

His residence, Naveen Niwas, is valued at Rs 13.66 crore while another property in New Delhi's APJ Abdul Kalam Road is valued at over Rs 43.36 crore. His movable assets, including investments in bonds and term deposits, are worth Rs 14.05 crore. Additionally, he owns a 1980 model Ambassador car valued at Rs 6,434 and jewellery worth Rs 4.17 lakh.

The BJD supremo has also opened two new bank accounts with the State Bank of India at Kantabanji and Hinjili, each having deposit of Rs 30 lakh exclusively for election purposes. He will contest the upcoming assembly polls from Kantabanji and Hinjili constituencies.

In his Income Tax return for 2022-23, Patnaik declared a total annual income of Rs 92,24,900. His income sources include bank interest, bonds, and salary.
