Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to visit New Delhi on June 8

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is slated to travel to New Delhi on June 8.

The Biju Janata Dal supremo is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, informed BJD’s parliamentary party leader Pinaki Mishra today.

This will be Naveen’s first trip to New Delhi to meet the PM, after the former’s swearing-in on May 29.

The CM is likely to take up the long-standing Special Category Status demand for Odisha and revision of mining royalty among others during his visit.
