Odisha Sun Times Bureau
Bhubaneswar, Apr 11:

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit communally-tensed Bhadrak tomorrow to review situation.

After reaching here this evening, Patnaik told media persons that he would visit the coastal town tomorrow to take stock of the situation.

In reply to media persons’ query, Patnaik said BJP’s national executive meeting in Odisha capital will have no impact on BJD.

Patnaik returned here this evening after winding up his five-day visit to New Delhi.

He is scheduled to hold meetings with senior district administration officials.

The communally-sensitive Bhadrak town was on boil after some inflammatory posts were posted on social networking site leading to tension between two communities.

While the town is limping back to normalcy, the district administration today lifted the ban on social media. In the wake of the volatile situation, curfew has been reimposed from 4 pm till 7 am tomorrow.

It may be mentioned here that state unit BJP president Basant Panda had lashed out at Naveen Patnaik for leaving for New Delhi, a day after violence broke out in Bhadrak.

Panda had said that Patnaik should have cancelled his trip to New Delhi instead he should have visited the trouble-torn town.
