On huge crowd at Srimandir after opening of all four gates of the temple for devotees, he said, "the temple was crowded due to holiday. There is a need to execute process in a proper manner. However, the crowd is under control from today. Arrangements have been made for smooth darshan of deities in upcoming days. Everything will be all right by the grace of Lord Jagannath."
Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena also attributed the heavy rush at the Jagannath Temple in Puri to Raja festival holiday.
"We have made arrangements to make darshan in a disciplined way inside Srimandir. We have deployed eight more platoons of forces at the temple. The ADG (law and order) himself is present at the temple to control the crowd. The Director of Intelligence will also visit the temple to monitor the crowding situation at the temple. The holidays for Raja festival caused the largest influx to the temple. Compared to yesterday, today's darshan at the temple was more organised," Jena told media persons.
