Odisha CM rules out ministry reshuffle

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today laid to rest all speculations about a possible reshuffle in his Council of Ministers.

“We have no thoughts about that right now,” said Patnaik replying to queries by reporters here about a possible reshuffle in his Council of Ministers on reaching Bhubaneswar as reported by a section of the media.

“Well for a very long period we have been demanding special category status for Odisha,” commented Patnaik on his party MPs staging a walkout in the Rajya Sabha demanding special category status for the state.

In his reactions over the demand for conferment of Bharat Ratna to his legendary father Biju Patnaik, the Chief Minister asserted: “I think he certainly deserves it very much.”
