Odisha CM to make aerial survey of Bulbul hit areas

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will undertake an aerial survey of Cyclone Bulbul affected districts tomorrow afternoon, said sources at the Chief Minister’s Office today.

Following the aerial survey, the CM is scheduled to hold video conferencing with Collectors of six districts at the Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar today. During the meeting Patnaik will review the restoration work and take stock of damages caused by the cyclone.

Many areas of the coastal districts have experienced rainfall on November 8 and 9 due to Cyclone Bulbul. Acres of kharif crops and around 5,000 houses have been damaged by strong winds and the unseasonal rain.

Worth mentioning, farmers of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj districts have been affected the most due to the cyclone.
