Odisha CM to make aerial survey of flood-hit districts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will undertake an aerial survey of flood affected districts of the State tomorrow. This was informed by Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy here.

After the aerial survey, the Chief Minister will hold discussion with senior officials about the flood situation.

Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Puri districts were worst affected by the flood. Three blocks of Kendrapada district and Bari block of Jajpur district witnessed severe damage because of the flood, Tripathy added.

There will be high level flow of water at Munduli barrage in next 24 hours. The water current is expected to decline from 10 am to 11 am, he said.
