Odisha CM wishes people on Mahashivratri, shares pics of Lingaraj Temple

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today wished people on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.

Enchanted by beauty of the Lingaraj Temple, Patnaik described it ‘awesome’. He said that the sight has created a grand and spiritual environment at Ekamra Kshetra on Holy Mahashivratri.

Taking to microblogging site Twitter, he wrote:

ମହାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ଏହି ଶୋଭାବର୍ଦ୍ଧନକାରୀ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବେଶ ମନୋରମ। ପବିତ୍ର ମହାଶିବରାତ୍ରୀରେ ଏକ ଭବ୍ୟ ତଥା ଆଦ୍ଧାତ୍ମିକ ପରିବେଶ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ହାର୍ଦ୍ଦିକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଓ ଶୁଭକାମନା।#Mahashivratri pic.twitter.com/sH056pxQrC

He also shared some photographs of Lingaraj Temple on his Twitter handle.

Worth mentioning, the beautification of the surrounding of Lingaraj Temple is another dream project of CM Patnaik after Srimandir in Puri. As many as 65 acre area around the shrine will be developed under the scheme.
