Odisha: College girl critical in road mishap, students block road

Kendrapara: Students of Hrudananda Nayak Smaraki (Degree) Mahavidyalaya at Chandol in Odisha's Kendrapara district staged road blockade today after a girl student of the college sustained critical injuries in a road mishap.

A speeding truck hit the victim leaving her critically injured. She was admitted to the Nischintakoili community health centre.

Tension gripped the area near the college as students blocked Cuttack-Chandbali road at Anuapada Chhak disrupting vehicular movement. Many vehicles remained stranded on both side of the road due to the blockade.
