Odisha: Commissionerate Police announces cash rewards for info on burglars

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has announced cash rewards for any information on persons involved in theft and burglary cases in the Odisha capital here.

The police have displayed posters with images of some suspected thieves and burglars at a few places, including bus stands and railway stations, in the city here and urged people to share information on these miscreants.

The cops announced that they would provide a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the informers.

“The people can share any information on these criminals by dialing 7077798111 or 067-3510199. Details regarding the informers would be kept confidential,” said a police officer.

Notably, the capital city has witnessed a series of burglary incidents in the recent past. Most of these cases were reported from apartments and posh areas of the city.
