Odisha Cong criticises PM for not uttering anything against BJD at Sambalpur

Bhubaneswar: Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Sambalpur today, Odisha in-charge of Congress Ajoy Kumar launched a scathing attack on the Opposition BJP and ruling BJD. He termed the association of both political parties in the State as that of ‘husband and wife’.

“The Prime Minister visited Sambalpur today and you might have noticed that he did not utter a single word against BJD. I have been saying since long back that they (BJP and BJD) have got married. Their honeymoon is still going on. BJP here pretends to attack. Better you ask what sort of a relationship is this?” Ajoy Kumar questioned while speaking to mediapersons.

“Public now became clear that we are (Congress) the only Opposition in the State,” Ajoy Kumar said.

Worth mentioning, mediapersons sought his views on the present-day political scenario, when Ajoy Kumar was on a visit to the house of senior Congress leader and Barabati-Cuttack MLA Mohammed Moquim. Ajoy Kumar had been to Moquim’s house to see the latter’s ailing mother.
