Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) has expelled its general secretary Narayan Jena from the primary membership of the party.

OPCC general secretary Narayan Jena has criticized the party and its leadership in Odisha in media. He has also criticized OPCC president in violation of party norms, said Odisha Congress Disciplinary Committee chairman Santosh Singh Saluja.

Jena has been expelled from the primary membership of the party for violating party norms, Saluja added.

Notably, Jena had criticized OPCC President Sarat Pattanayak immediate after the suspension of former Odisha Congress working president Chiranjib Biswal and Barabati-Cuttack MLA Mohammed Moquim from the party a few days ago.
