Odisha continues to shiver under cold wave; G. Udaygiri coldest at 3 degree C

Bhubaneswar: With the temperature plummeted across Odisha, as many as nine places in the State recorded below 10 degree Celsius in last 24 hours.

While the mercury dropped to 3 degree Celsius in G. Udaygiri making it the coldest place in Odisha, Phulbani, Daringibadi and Koraput recorded the minimum temperature of 5.5 degree C, 8.0 degree C and 8.5 degree C respectively.

Similarly, the night temperature declined to 9.2 degree C in Jharsuguda, 9.4 degree C in Keonjhar, 9.5 degree C in Balangir and Sundargarh and 9.8 degree C in Bhawanipatna.

Twin City Bhubaneswar and Cuttack registered 14.7 degree C and 13.4 degree C respectively at night.
