Rourkela: A police officer was arrested on charges of taking bribe from a person here today.

The accused official is identified as Madhusudan Patra, the ASI of Brahmanitarang Police Station.

The Vigilance sleuths caught the Brahmanitarang ASI red-handed while he was receiving Rs 5,000 bribe from a person at the police station.
