Puri: Following negative feedback from public under the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative, Puri SP Uma Shankar Dash today suspended a police official. Action has been taken against the cop, Assistant Sub Inspector Prahllad Baral of Puri Sadar Police Station on basis of preliminary investigation report.

The Puri SP informed that the ASI was allegedly behaving inappropriately with complainants. After getting negative feedback from them, an inquiry was undertaken and the ASI was suspended on basis of the report, Dash added.

Later a detailed investigation will be carried out into the charges and disciplinary action will be taken accordingly, the SP said.
