Odisha cops arrest jatra actor for making co-actor’s intimate pics viral
Bhubaneswar: Twin City Commissionerate Police today arrested a jatra (theatre) actor on charges of circulating intimate photographs of his co-actor on social media.
As per police, Deepak Kumar Mohanty – hailing from Basudevpur in Bhadrak district – was arrested and forwarded to a local court here in connection with a case registered at Nandankanan police station last month.

The 38-year-old actor was arrested under section 354 (A), 354 (C), 384, 506, 509 of IPC and section 66(E) of IT Act.
Mohanty was working with Sachidananda jatra party when he clicked intimate pictures of one of his female co-artists and uploaded on social media platforms. When the matter came to light, the woman filed a complaint last month leading to his arrest.
