Sundargarh: Bodies of two youth found under a bridge under Sadar block in Odisha's Sundargarh district were lying for hours as the police did not recover due to a jurisdiction dispute.

The two were found dead under mysterious circumstances near the bridge between Manamunda village and Dhaunlakhaman village.

The deceased persons were identified as Aju Majhi and Sachindra Kisan of Bijulikhaman village. One motorcycle was found near the bodies.

Although the reason of their deaths is unclear, the locals suspected that the bodies of two youth were thrown after their murder.

Shockingly, the bodies are still lying at the site more than 10 hours due to a dispute over the jurisdiction of police stations.

The Dharuadihi police reached the spot, however, they did not recover the bodies stating that the area comes under Sadar police limits. On the other hand, the Sadar police did not take further action citing the same reason.

According to reports, two youth had been to somewhere last night. Today morning, their bodies were spotted by locals under the bridge.
