Odisha COVID-19 cases: With 0.77% TPR, 453 more test positive

Bhubaneswar: As many as 453 persons, including 53 children below 18 years of age, tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 58,223 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 0.77%.

Khurda district registered highest 201 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (59) and Jagatsinghpur (24).

With this, the COVID-19 tally rose to 1028819 with 4935 active cases.

The Health Department also reported three more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 8223.
