Odisha COVID-19 Update: 264 fresh cases; tally at 6614

Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 tally in Odisha increased to 6614 with 264 fresh cases reported in last 24 hours, informed State Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department today.

Of new positive cases, 234 have been detected from quarantine centres and 30 are local contacts. The cases were reported from 23 districts.

While the highest number of 76 new cases were reported from Ganjam district district, Jajpur district, which is one of the hotspots of COVID-19, reported 41 followed by Keonjhar district with 25 fresh cases.

23. Mayurbhanj: 15

With 264 new cases, the number of active cases now stands at 1980. While the recovered cases rose to 4606, the State reported total 18 death cases due to COVID-19 and 7 casualties due to other than COVID so far.
