Odisha COVID cases: 11607 more test +ve; Khurda adds highest 4347 infections

Bhubaneswar: As many as 11607 persons tested positive for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours in Odisha, taking the tally in the state to 1167094.

Out of the 11607 cases, 991 are children below 18 years of age. While a total of 69,502 samples were tested, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) stood at 16.7%.

Khurda district registered highest 4347 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (1219) and Cuttack (898).

With this, the active cases in the state surged to 84770.
