Bhubaneswar: As many as 4843 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 62,858 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 7.7%.
Out of the 4843 cases, 663 are children below 18 years of age.
Khurda district reported highest 1023 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (735) and Cuttack (379).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1245911 with 53090 active cases.
