Bhubaneswar: As many as 5901 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 63,209 samples were tested in the state, yesterday.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 9.33%.
Out of the 5901 cases, 739 are children below 18 years of age.
Khurda district registered highest 1430 fresh infections, followed by Sundargarh (545) and Cuttack (402).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1231169 with 70327 active case.
