Bhubaneswar: Number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha crossed 7,000-mark and mounted to 7065 as 206 more persons tested positive for the virus, official sources said today.
Out of the 206 cases, 192 were detected in quarantine while 14 are local contact cases. The highest number of cases were reported from Malkangiri (36). The new cases also include an NDRF staffer who returned from Cyclone Amphan duty in West Bengal.
With this, the number of active cases in the state rose to 2087 while 4946 persons have recovered from the disease so far.
