The most eligible bachelor of Odisha cricket team – Biplab Samantray – lost the title on Friday as he got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Prachi Sahu.
The former captain of Odisha Ranji team and the current captain of the state T-20 team exchanged rings with his partner at a city-based hotel here.
After six years of courtship, the 28-year-old all-rounder finally decided to shed his bachelorhood tag.
“I got engaged to Prachi on Friday. We have planned to get married by the end of this year after the current Ranji season is over,” Biplab Samantaray said.

The promising cricketer has played 57 first class matches with five centuries and 11 half centuries. He has scored 2606 runs with 171 as his career best. Besides, he has scalped 74 wickets with medium pace bowling.
