Odisha: ‘Crorepati’ school teacher in Vigilance net   

Kendrapara: Vigilance officials today raided the office and houses of  Jamapada Girls’ High School teacher Ranjan Kumar Nayak here on charges of acquisition and possession of property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Separate teams of the anti-graft wing conducted simultaneous raids a four places, including Nayak’s house at Kalapada, in-law’s house at Bahakandia and his chamber in the girls’ high school and brother-in-law’s house at Jamapada.

During the search, the Vigilance sleuths have so far seized property including 500 grams gold, a car, two motorcycles, five trucks worth over Rs 1.5 crore, said Vigilance DSP Surendra Nath Raiguru.
