Bhubaneswar: All government offices in Odisha will remain closed for half day on the occasion of consecration of Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on January 22.

All state government offices as well as the revenue and magisterial courts (executive) will remain closed for half day till 2.30 pm in view of the celebration of Ram Lalla Pran Pratistha at Ayodhya on January 22 (Monday), said a notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management department today.

Earlier in the day, the Centre announced half-day holiday for all central government offices till 2.30 pm for the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22.

The half-day holiday will be applicable for all central government offices, central institutions and central industrial establishments.
