Odisha declares paid holiday for Patkura poll voters

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has declared paid holiday for employees of all business, trade, industrial undertakings, shops and commercial establishments who are voters for the election to the Patkura assembly constituency, which will be held tomorrow (July 20).

This apart, holiday has been declared in the constituency for tomorrow in view of the poll, a press release of the Labour & Employees’ State Insurance Department said.

All shops, commercial establishments and trade industrial units functioning within the limits of Patkura Assembly Constituency shall be closed on the day of poll, the release added.
