Bhubaneswar: Deloitte India has planned to increase its staff strength at its Capability Enhancement Centre (CEC) in Odisha capital to 5,000 in next two years.

Deloitte India CEO Romal Shetty today called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here and held discussions regarding its expansion plans in Odisha.

The leading global professional services firm had opened its Capability Enhancement Centre at ICOMC Tower in the city here in January this year.

Bhubaneswar became the fourth Indian city after Thane-Mumbai, Gurugram and Coimbatore to have Deloitte’s CEC, the company’s flagship office which delivers outstanding value through adoption of best practices, usage of latest technologies, and deployment of a diverse and skilled workforce.

The company’s CEC in Bhubaneswar mainly focuses on areas such as analytics, artificial intelligence, digitalization, machine learning, cloud, and cyber security, sources said.
