Dengue SMALLSIZEOdisha Sun Times Bureau
Cuttack, Sept 20:

The Odisha High Court has directed the state government to file reply on the action taken by it to contain the alarming spread of dengue across 26 districts in the state.

Hearing a PIL, a division bench of the court, comprising Chief Justice Amitava Roy and Justice Dr Bidyut Ranjan Sarangi on Friday asked the state government to furnish a reply to this effect within a week.

In his petition, Chinmay Swarup Panda, secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Jajpur District Committee, had alleged that the state government had failed miserably in containing the spread of dengue in the state and prayed for immediate intervention of the court in the matter.
