Odisha DGP reviews police’s action plan following extension of lockdown

Cuttack: After the Odisha government extended the lockdown period in the State till April 30, DGP Abhaya today reviewed the action plan of police.

During a video conferencing with district SPs and range IGs/DIGs, the DGP talked in detail about a range of issues associated with COVID-19.

The meeting also discussed about the High court order on seizure of vehicles and fine. Police role in contact tracing and enforcement in containment zone also came up for discussion.

During the video conferencing, free movement of goods transport and the police role in ensuring supply of essential commodities were discussed.

Other senior police officials including STF were also present in the meeting.
