Odisha doctor succumbs to COVID-19

Balangir: COVID-19 claimed life of an Ayurvedic doctor in Odisha’s Balangir district. The deceased has been identified as Dr. Dilip Sarangi of Sagarpada here. He was 56.

Sarangi was working as an Ayurvedic doctor at Raximunda Primary Health Centre (PHC). After he tested positive for COVID-19, his family members were taking him to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

However, he breathed his last on the way to the hospital.

Earlier, a 32-year-old doctor of IMS and SUM Hospital in Bhubaneswar had died of COVID-19. Deceased Hrudananda Bhuyan was an Associate Professor of General Medicine Department at the hospital. He was suffering from COVID-19 and had sickle cell disease related complications.
