Odisha: Dr. Lalit Meher takes charge as VIMSAR Director

Sambalpur: Dr. Lalit Kumar Meher today took charge as the director of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla in Odisha’s Sambalpur.

Dr. Meher was earlier working as the dean and principal of Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital, Balangir. His new appointment is for a term of three years from the date on which he assumes charge or till he attains the age of 65, whichever is earlier.

The post had been lying vacant for more than a year after Dr. Aswini Pujahari resigned on February 9, 2019.
