Odisha effects reshuffle in OAS cadre

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a bureaucratic reshuffle in the OAS cadre involving seven officials.

Sarat Chandra Mishra, commissioner, consolidation, Bhubaneswar has been transferred and posted as special secretary to Government, Labour & E.S.l. Department.

Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan has been posted as Bargarh Collector after revocation of his suspension. Pradhan was suspended for disobeying an interim court order. The Orissa High Court had on August 19 recalled its order to suspend him.

On the other hand, Bargarh Collector Indramani Tripathy has been transferred and posted as M.D., Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar on Foreign Service terms & conditions.

Saroj Kumar Samal, M.D., Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd., has been given the charge of Jharsuguda Collector.

Banani Mohanty, Additional Commissioner, Additional Revision Court created at Bhubaneswar under the Member, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Agriculture and F.E. Department.

Santoshi Sahoo, APD (Admn.), DRDA, Nayagarh has been transferred and posted as Joint secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.

Biswaranjan Rath has been given the charge of APD (Admn.), DRDA, Sundargarh on Foreign Service terms & conditions.
