Odisha elderly woman collapses on the way to polling booth, dies

Jagatsinghpur: An elderly woman collapsed on her way to a polling booth during Tirtol bypoll in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district and later died at a hospital today.

According to reports, Nagari Sethi of Redhua area was heading towards the polling station when she collapsed. She was rescued by her family members and rushed to the Redhua Community Health Centre for treatment.

As the woman’s condition deteriorated, she was then shifted to the Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital, where doctor declared her dead.
