Odisha Plus Two Exam: Evaluation centres to come under CCTV surveillance

Bhubaneswar: Besides examination centres, CCTVs will now be installed at all evaluation centres across the State to ensure transparency in annual Plus Two examination, conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE).

CHSE Chairman Amarendra Kumar Patnaik today directed supervisors of all evaluation centres in this regard.

Speaking to media, Patnaik said, “Both online and offline evaluation centres will come under the surveillance of CCTVs to ensure transparency and strict enforcement of regulation during checking of answersheets of Plus Two examination.”

Earlier this month, the CHSE had warned authorities of all junior colleges that the examination centres will be cancelled if CCTVs are not timely installed in the colleges.

In a letter, CHSE Controller of Examinations Bijay Kumar Sahoo had asked all college authorities to execute the order and submit CCTV installation status report by February 20.
