Odisha: Examinations of Gangadhar Meher University deferred

Sambalpur: The examinations of Gangadhar Meher University scheduled to be held on January 13 have been deferred to January 24, a release stated.

The examinations were postponed in view of Nua-O-Fest to be organised at Mandalia Ground on January 13 in Sambalpur following a letter from Zilla Parishada, the University clarified in a notification.

As per the schedule, the third-semester examinations (regular/back/Imp) of the Undergraduate programme in Arts, Science, Commerce,
B.Sc IST, BBA, BA B.Ed, and B.Sc B.Ed, seventh-semester examinations of BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed, third-semester examinations of the post-graduate programme in Arts, Science, Commerce, third-semester examinations of MCA, MBA and MBA(FM) will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm (first sitting) and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm (second sitting) on the dates specified below.
