Odisha film director Raju Mishra passes away

Bhubaneswar: Renowned Odia movie director Raju Mishra passed away at his residence in Jatni today, family sources said. He was 72.

Mishra died of cardiac arrest after returning home from bank this afternoon, sources added. He had undergone heart surgery few years ago.

A recipient of the prestigious Jayadev Award, Mishra had directed several blockbuster films like Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi, Pua Mora Kala Thakura, Sagara Ganga, Sata Micha, Mamata Mage Mula.
