Odisha filmmaker Chakradhar Sahu is no more

Bhubaneswar: Veteran filmmaker and movie director Chakradhar Sahu passed away in Odisha capital early this morning

Sahu breathed his last while undergoing treatment at AIIMS here due to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

He had directed Odia movies Nila Masterani, Tumaku Paruni Ta Bhuli, Kebe Tame Naha Kebe Mu Nahi and Meemansa. He had won the Odisha State Film Award for Best Director for Tumaku Paruni Ta Bhuli and State Film Award for Best Editor thrice for Nila Masterani, Kebe Tame Naha Kebe Mu Nahi and Sukha Asuchi.

A pall of gloom descended on the Ollywood fraternity after the news of Sahu’s demise spread.
