Bhubaneswar: Final semester exams of undergraduate and post graduate courses offered by universities and autonomous colleges in Odisha will be conducted by September 30 and results will be declared by October 31. A decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of Vice Chancellors and Principals through video conference today.
As per the UGC guidelines, the exams can be held offline/online/blended/multiple choice/open book/OMR mode. The decision in connection with the mode of exam will be decided by the respective universities and autonomous colleges.
Adhering to the UGC guidelines, a decision was taken in the meeting to hold a special exam in December 2020 for the students who cannot appear for the exam.
Back Paper exams of final semester students will be conducted and results will be declared by October 31.
Among others, Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the department Saswat Mishra, Vice Chairperson of Higher Education Council Ashok Das, Vice Chancellors and Principals attended the meeting.
