Bhubaneswar: The Medical Council of India (MCI) has allotted 100 more MBBS seats to Odisha under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota for the academic year 2019-20.

While 25 new seats each have been approved for Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College & Hospital in Baripada and Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College & Hospital in Koraput, 50 more seats have been allotted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Burla.
