Odisha girl Lavanya wins Miss Teen Universe 2018

Bhubaneswar: City-based girl Lavanya Das brought laurel to State and country by winning ‘Miss Teen Universe’ title during Miss and Mister Tourism Ambassador Universe 2018 held in Malaysia yesterday.

Lavanya bagged the title with her performance that impressed the judges in talent, national, costume and sports rounds at the competition.

Three Odisha girls shine at Junior Model International in Dubai

Total 35 contestants from 25 countries had participated at the event.

Lavanya promoted Indian culture and tourism as well as Odisha’s rich culture and tourism during the competition in Malaysia.

Lavanya, a student of DAV School at Unit 8 in Bhubaneswar, is a professional model. She gives entire credit to her parents, school, teachers and friends for her success at the event.

Last year, she had won the Pre-teen Junior Model International title at beauty pageant in Kerala.
