Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today appointed 1987-batch IAS officer Raj Kumar Sharma as the Director General of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar.
“On return from leave, Raj Kumar Sharma, IAS (RR-1987) is appointed as the Director General, TC, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar,” said a notification issued by the General Administration department today.
Notably, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration is the apex training institute for administrative officers of Odisha government.
A couple of days ago, the state government had transferred Nayagarh Collector Poma Tudu in a bureaucratic reshuffle in Odisha.
Tudu was appointed as the Managing Director of Odisha State Medical Corporation. Tudu had worked as the collector of Nayagarh for three years.
Secretary to State Election Commission, Rabindranath Sahu, was appointed as the new collector of Nayagarh.
