Odisha government effects minor IAS rejig

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle of IAS officers. According to a notification issued by the General Administration department, 2008 Batch IAS Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar was appointed as the Director Tribal Affairs. Four days back, Guha Poonam was transferred to the Panchayati Raj department.

2007 batch IAS Sachin Ramachandra Jadhav, who was working as the Director Tribal Affairs, has been appointed as Director Tourism.

1999 batch IAS NBS Rajput, who was Commissioner Land Records & Settlements in Odisha, has been sent on Central deputation.

The State government has appointed 2008 batch IAS B Parameswaran as Director Drinking Water and Sanitation in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water. 2008 batch IAS Officer Brundaban Behera has been appointed as Director Land Records, Surveys and Consolidation.

2012 batch IAS Smruti Ranjan Pradhan has been appointed as Director Fisheries. IAS Officer Umakanta Tripathy has been appointed Director of Panchayati Raj in Department of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, the General Administration notification mentioned.
